Thank you for your sponsorship of the monthly movie night at the progress hall.  So far it has been a success with 60 children and adults attending the first movie night and approximately 45 attending last night's screening.

As it is the only movie screening for our island community, we hope news travels and more adults attend as word gets around that it is a free, fun night out for the families on the islands.

We thank you for your donation of $100 voucher, which was won by Harry Nicholson, as we fully realize how many requests for donations that you must receive each year.

This year we raised $15,000 for Careflight, which we have had as our charity for the past nine years.  Meagan Dodd from Careflight has informed us that we are among the top three fund raisers for south-east Qld.  Over the ten years, we have raised more than $60,000 for them - not a bad effort for 30 odd women, and which we would not be able to do without your generosity.
